1) Wacker HDK, Germany ® T40 gas-phase silica (also known as gas-phase white carbon black, white smoke)

2) Wacker Wacker is a hydrophilic fumed silica product with a high specific surface area of 400+-40 m2/g.  

3) Has good thickening and thixotropic properties, as well as good transparency and high adsorption performance.  

4) Gas phase silica (also known as gas-phase white carbon black, light powder, white smoke) is prepared by high-temperature hydrolysis of volatile chlorosilanes in a hydrogen oxygen flame.  

Wacker White Carbon Black HDK from Germany ® Features of T40:

Used for controlling rheology and thixotropy in liquid systems, resins, polymers, etc., providing good thickening and thixotropy capabilities for gas phase silica products with high specific surface area, reinforcing high-temperature vulcanized (HTV) silicone rubber, and exhibiting good transparency in various systems such as unsaturated polyester resin.
