DENKA BLACK Li further reduces metal impurities to their limits while maintaining the original characteristics of DENKA BLACK.

In addition to the high conductivity and electrolyte retention required for conductive additives in lithium-ion secondary batteries, it can also prevent short circuits caused by metal impurities and significantly reduce battery failure rates.

Pure acetylene carbon black

High purity acetylene carbon black generated by self heating decomposition can be used in the production of lithium-ion secondary batteries.

In response to the requirements of lithium-ion battery applications, we have conducted deeper research on high-purity technology.

And now, in order to provide customers with more carbon black, we have added a carbon black production line at the Chiba factory.

We have developed a technology that suppresses the generation of impurities and can remove them, based on the technology and experience accumulated in the 70 year production process at the Omuta/Singapore factory. Through these technologies, we have successfully reduced the impurity content to below 10% of the previous level.
