According to Cabot's new Food Contact Notification (FCN) (FCN 1789) submitted to the FDA, BLACK PEARLS 4750 can be used in various food contact applications, including as a component of adhesives, as a coloring agent in resins and polymer coatings; As a coloring agent in contact with water-based and fatty foods in paper and cardboard; As a coloring agent in paper and cardboard that comes into contact with dry food; And used as a coloring agent for polymers. Its usage level should not exceed the minimum level required to achieve the expected technical effect. It cannot come into contact with infant formula and breast milk.

The FDA only approves high-purity furnace black for Cabot Corporation listed in FCN 1789.
