MONARCH ® 1000 carbon black is a nano scale professional black pigment that has undergone surface treatment and has excellent coloring power. It is suitable for automotive paint, industrial and architectural coatings.

MONARCH ® 1000 carbon black is suitable for coatings that require strong coloring power. Its small particles provide excellent spray and UV absorption performance, and have good external durability.

MONARCH ® The dispersibility of 1000 pigment black is enhanced by its high structure and surface treatment. The dispersion depends on the equipment usage and formula. Good dispersion requires solvents, dispersants, and sufficient wetting in the premix. A small amount of resin is dispersed in a high-speed disperser, and then the media beads are ground in a grinder or horizontal mill. The required dispersant level range for pigments depends on the formula, ranging from 40-50 solid weight percent.
